Story
Dear Friends & Family,
On November 6th, I will be running the New York City Marathon, a goal I’ve been working toward for a long time, on behalf of Keep a Child Alive (KCA)! In return for securing my entry into the race, I’ve pledged to fundraise $3000 that will go directly to this organization. I would appreciate absolutely any contribution that would help me make this happen!
Co-founded in 2003 by Alicia Keys to provide essential support to children suffering with HIV/AIDS, KCA now has programs across Africa and India and reaches 150,000 children, young people and adults. KCA works shoulder to shoulder with front line activists and local partners to deliver thematic programs that support child & maternal health, lift people out of poverty, & help them gain access to education and secure a low impact, sustainable future. As an aspiring healthcare provider, this is an important cause to me and a way for me to make a meaningful difference.
I hope you’ll support me in my efforts as I train for this iconic 26.2-mile race. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful contribution — it really does make a difference.
(Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to KCA. As a reminder, all donations are tax-deductible, you will be emailed an official letter for your records!)
Keep A Child Alive
OUR MISSION: Changing the world, one child at a time. Co-founded in 2003 by Alicia Keys, KCA fights for children. We want every child to have the opportunity to be all they can, no matter where they start in life. We stand with them, as they overcome and thrive.
